On Saturday afternoon October 18, 2025, at the age of 95, Alice Ida May Harris of lillington, North Carolina peacefully gained her wings. Mother Alice Harris was born on April 9, 1930, in Marianna, Arkansas, to the late Lewis Perry and Nicy Pratt. A woman of deep faith and enduring strength. Alice devoted 35 years of service to the VA Hospital before retiring. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Oliver Lee Harris, and both of her parents. Alice was a true worshiper who loved God wholeheartedly. She found joy in reading her Bible daily and often spent her quiet moments listening to the sermons of her favorite preacher, Bishop G. E. Patterson. Her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and unwavering spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her devoted cousin, Mariah Brinker (Isaiah) Her goddaughter, Rachel Price Redding Her special nephew and caregiver, Bishop Xavier Ellis Her dear friend, Mother Dorothy Burney And a host of cousins, extended family, and friends. Alice’s legacy of faith, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed. In Loving Memory of Mother Alice Harris funeral services and burial will be held in Marianna, Arkansas to be announced by the family at a later time.
