Charles (Sonny) Bozarth Jr.

Charles Pierson Bozarth Jr. of Lillington North Carolina,  known as Sonny, died on Tuesday morning June 4, 2019. Charles "Sonny" was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles Pierson Bozarth Sr and Anne Marie Duncan. At the age of two he moved to North Carolina with his mother and father figure David Overby. Sonny attended Harnett County School System including Harnett Central High School. He worked for many companies throughout his life including, but not limited to: East Coast Towing, Waffle House, Bryant Industrial Crane & Rigging, Volt Doctors, Michael & Son, and had interests in many areas of life. Sonny had recently moved to Coats, NC to live with his high school sweetheart, Amanda Turlington, and their children. He was preceeded in death by his grandparents: James & Barbara Bozarth and Bob & Cherrie Duncan. Left to cherish his memories are: one son, Cameron Edward Turlington age 13; a daughter, Madalyn Pearl Turlington age 10; Amanda Turlington; father Charles Bozarth Sr (Lura); mother Anne Duncan; David Overby; John Jennings; brothers: Zach Overby, Bryan Overby; sisters: Allie Overby, Amanda Bozarth, Ashley Bozarth, Chelsie Fernald; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.There will be family and friends gathering and celebration of life on Saturday June 8, 2019 at his Lillington home.
