Cornelius Franklin Scott of Fayetteville, North Carolina, departed this life late Saturday evening August 23,2025 at his home with his family at his bedside. Cornelius worked at Sacred Heart Retirement Home as Security Guard, he was a Cook for Morning Breakfast Grill. He is survived by his Godson William H Wynes IV, cousins Aisha Williamson and Donna Hammond. Cornelius attended Good Samaritan Baptist Church in Philadelphia and on occasion was the pianist, he was known by friends and family as “The Piano Man". He continued to share his love of music at St Joseph of the Pines Life day program by playing the piano for his fellow attendees and staff members, where he spent some of his last days. To Know him was to love him, and he will always be remembered. The family will announce a celebration of life gathering to be held in Philadelphia Penn. at a later time.
