Doris Faye Baxley of Dunn, North Carolina died Thursday night at Betsy Johnson Hospital Dunn, North Carolina with family at bedside. Doris was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina to the late James Boyles and Gracie Boyles. where she also went to primary school. She then moved with her family to West Virginia where she went to secondary school and married her high school sweet heart, the late Mitchell Baxley. Doris worked as a sewing machine operator and a biscuit maker at Biscuit king in Lexington, NC. She loved music, dancing and cooking for her family. Preceded in death Husband Mitchell Baxley, father James Boyles, Gracie Boyles, three brothers James Boyles, Bobby Boyles, John Boyles, one sister Eva Schoolcraft. Left to cherish her memories Five sons Michael Baxley, Edward Baxley, Kenneth Baxley, Steven Baxley, Robert Baxley. two daughters Michella Baxley and Milinda Baxley, one sister Frances Holmes. A host of grand great grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a viewing form 1pm to 2pm followed by a family gathering memorial service at 2pmTuesday November 1, 2022 at Family Funeral home and Cremation Services Dunn, NC.
