Gloria Ann Thomas of Dunn, NC died at her home Saturday October 21,2023. The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble and He knowth them that trust Him. Nahum 1:7Gloria Ann Thomas of Dunn, NC was born on February 11, 1955 to the late Martha Ann Grady of Erwin, NC. Gloria was educated in the Harnett County School System. She later worked at Morganite in Dunn, NC and at Walmart in Dunn, NC for many years, where she retired. Gloria had a sweet passion for family and friends, and she also enjoyed the comfort of sitting on her front porch. Gloria was preceded in death by her mother and father Gladys and Milbert Thomas, of Dunn, NC, sister Betty Jean Chance, brothers Glen McNeill and James Curtis McNeill. Gloria leaves to cherish her sweet memories two sons George Christopher McNeill of the home and Rasheed Fairly of Omaha NE; sisters Marie McNeill and Brenda McNeill of Erwin, NC; brothers Jimmy McNeill of Dunn, NC and Carl McNeill ( Beulah) of Fayetteville, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friends Linda, Debbie, and Angie.   Don't Weep for me Don't weep for me For I've made it home Through heaven gates There I may roam. Wipe your tears And dry your eyes I'm in  a better place With heaven as my prize Don't weep for me No tears and no sorrow Live life for Jesus The promise tomorrow There will be a public viewing On Wednesday November 1,2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by the funeral service and committal 11:00am, at Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services Dunn, NC. Internment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Dunn, NC to be announced by the family for a later time.
