Mr. James Reginald “Reggie” McNeill entered eternal rest on January 4, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his fiancé, Shacola Rogers, his daughter, Quayona Rogers McNeill, his mother Kaye Francis Ann McNeill, and his grandmother, Sally Murchison.
Reggie grew up in the Buies Creek area and was educated in the Harnett County School System. He was a quiet, humble, peaceful young man. He always had a smile on his face and was fun to be around. He had a knack for cooking and considered himself to be a master chef in the kitchen. He really loved writing music and listening to various rap artists. He was a people’s person and especially loved his family! He is survived by his father, Hezekiah Raines of Clinton, and his stepfather Connell McNeill of Dunn; his loving siblings; Four brothers – Charles Anthony (Charlene) McNeill of Dunn; Retired Sergeant First Class Todd (Jennifer) McNeill of Olympia, Washington; Christopher (Cubia) Massey of Dunn; and Thomas Blue of Dunn; and Four sisters – Gloria (Michael A.) Cameron of Dunn; Crystal (Rasheed) Bell of Kannapolis; Sue Ann “Hope” McNeill of Dunn; and Lededra Altovise Raines of Clinton. The family is receiving friends at the home of his brother, Chris Massey at 802 East Canary Street, Dunn. Funeral services will be at Family Funeral Home 302 spring Branch Rd Dunn, NC. Thursday January 14, 2021 public viewing at from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm followed by The funeral service at 1pm.
