Judith LaVon (Creech) Grice

 Judith “Judy” LaVon Grice of Smithfield, North Carolina died Saturday evening at
UNC Health Johnston, Smithfield, NC.
Judy was born on October 14, 1945, to the late Lee Walton and David Creech of
Pine Level, NC. She loved her family and was strong in her faith. Judy always had a
big, beautiful smile to greet you with.
She is pre-deceased by both of her parents, a daughter-in-law, Sabrina Hennis, a
granddaughter, Meghan Raine Grice, five sisters; Connie McRoads (Jimmy),
Dorothy Edwards (L.C.), Donna Powell (Norman), Ruth Bohn and Jean Marshall
(Roland) and one brother; William D “Buck” Creech.
Judy is lovingly survived by one daughter; Sherri LaVon (Grice) Lyons (Richie), two
sons; Sean Glenn Grice and Jody West Grice (Leigh), three grandchildren; David
Austin Grice, Kayleigh Elizabeth Grice, and Alayna Marie Grice, one sister; Mary
Peacock (Jerry), one brother; James T “Tom” Creech (Leta Gray), a sister-in-law,
Betsy Creech, and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
The family will have a private family gathering to be announced at a later time. .
