Orlando Aponte age 33 of Bunnlevel, NC, died on Monday 11/06/2017. Orlando was born in Deridder, Louisiana. He and his family later moved to North Carolina. Orlando attended Western Harnett High School and graduated from Central Carolina Community College. He had a passion for his family and friends. He was great at cooking, loved by so many and had a heart of gold. He was always the peace maker. Never the one for confrontation and couldn’t stand to see a sad face. He was employed at Frontier in Sanford, NC.

Orlando is survived by his parents Antonio Mendez and Norma I. Mendez. His brother Yamil Aponte, David Fink, sisters Liz Angelica Aponte, Jessica Fink, Joannie Olander.His grandmother Ana Angelica Alicea and grandfather Victor Aponte. Uncles Angelo Aponte, Victor Aponte Jr., Carlos Aponte, Ricardo Quinones, David Aponte,Edwin Rivera,  Aunts Nereida Aponte Quinones, and Milly Rivera, Nephews Jack Olander, Gideon Rodriguez, Yamil Aponte Jr, Colby Aponte and Aaron David Fink . Nieces Lydia Villegas, Rebekah Victoria, Iris Rodriguez, Darielis Rivera, A host of cousins which includes Ricardo Quinones Jr., Karolina Quinones, Roberto Quinones, Glorianna Escobar, and special friend James Bethea. Orlando will be missed by all who knew him.      On Saturday November11, 2017, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm there will be a Memorial family and friends gathering at family funeral Home and Cremation Services Dunn, NC.
