Patrick Jeffery Hensley

Patrick "Jeff" Hensley, of Dunn, North Carolina, a beloved son, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at Betsy Johnson Hospital, Dunn, North Carolina; at the age of 57, after a courageous battle with cancer. Patrick “Jeff” was born on October 21, 1967,Throughout his life, Jeff was known for his artistic spirit and determined nature. His adventurous heart led him to explore the world around him, and his hardworking demeanor impressed everyone he met. He was a critical thinker who approached challenges with a unique perspective, always striving to find beauty in every situation. His creativity manifested in various forms, and he left an indelible mark not only on his family but on the community he loved. Jeff's life was a true  testament to resilience, creativity, and adventure. He was a devoted family man and a friend to many, leaving a legacy that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jeff was the cherished son of the late Gerald Roy Hensley and the late Louise Jones Hensley. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, and twin sister, Pamela Jones, He has  left a profound impact on his family and friends. Jeff held a special place in the hearts of his surviving family;  his children Patrick Joshua "Josh" Hensley, Johnathon "Daylon" Hensley, Matthew "Tyler" Hensley, his step children: Christopher "Chris" Turnage(wife Julia Turnage), Jennifer "Jenny" Barns (husband Anthony Barns),his siblings Roy Paul Hensley, John Hensley, Cecilia Chavez, Michael Chavez, and his dear friends Billy Odom(wife Kimberly Odom), Chris Gendreau, Michael Turnage, Randy Raynor, and Ava Williams; who were all an integral part of his life. Jeff's journey will be celebrated on August 26, 2025, 11:00 AM at Lee's  Chapel Cemetery, Dunn, NC, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. He will be remembered not only for his artistic talents but also for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. As we say goodbye to Patrick "Jeff" Hensley, let us remember the light he brought into our lives and the love he shared with each of us. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to embrace life with the same adventurous and determined heart that he exemplified. Rest in peace, dear Jeff; you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
