Paulette Lujune Ward

Mrs. Paulette Lujune (Smith)Ward of the Riverside Community was born February 3, 1971 to Ms. Isabelle Smith and the Late George Douglas Cameron at Betsy Johnson Hospital Dunn, North Carolina. God call Paulette home to be with Him early Wednesday morning March 25, 2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center Burlington, NC. Paulette attended the Gentry Elementary school.  Then attended Erwin middle and graduated from Triton High School class of 1990. Paulette liked to go shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She liked to cook, her favorite was oxtails and Soul Food. She loved joy riding, doing cross word puzzles and listening to music. Paulette L Ward was a loving person she cared about people, she spoke what was on her mind, loved to joke around, and loved to dress nice. Paulette live in the Dunn area where she worked as a cook for Britthaven Nursing Home for many years. Paulette attended Oak Grove A M E Zion Church Erwin, NC where she sang in the choir and participated in church activities along with her family. Later Paulette met  Dennis Ray Ward and they joined in marriage on the fifteenth day of February 2002. Paulette L Ward is preceded in death by her father George Douglas Cameron , Brother George Rocco Cameron, Sister Jacqueline Denise Smith, two nephews Marcus Smith and Patrick Smith. Left to Cherish her loving memories are her Husband Dennis Ray Ward of Dunn, NC, Two Daughters Kieisha Smith of Erwin, NC, Mydesha Draughon of Clinton, NC, A Son George Smith of Erwin, NC, Isabelle Smith Mother of Erwin, NC, six sisters Mrs. Phaulethia McLean (Joseph) of Eriwn, NC, Mrs. Alfreda Smith (Keith) of Winston Salem, NC, Mrs. Cassandra Stewart (Archie) of Dunn, NC, Mrs. Elizabeth Lindsey (Tracey) of Erwin ,NC, Ms.  Pamela Smith of Bunnlevel, NC, Ms. Teresa Boone of Dunn, NC, Mother-law Artelia Ward of Dunn, two Sister in-laws Ms. Angela Ward of Dunn, NC, Mrs. Rontelia Petrie (Eric) of Charlotte, NC,a Brother in-law James Earl, and a host nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a private family Graveside Service Friday 1pm, April 3, 2020, at Riverside Community Cemetery Erwin, North Carolina.
