Rayvone Tyrone Wright

Rayvone Tyrone Wright or “Ray” as he was affectionally called by close family and friends was born March 30th, 1981 in Harnett County, NC and departed his life on Monday June 21st 2021 at Sentara Careplex in Hampton, Virginia.

He was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend by many who knew him. Rayvone loved cars, traveling and music. He loved his family but most of all he loved being a father to his son.

Rayvone was preceded in death by his parents Reuben Langston of Columbia, South Carolina and Evelyn “Lena: McConico Wright of Dunn, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories his only child, Jayvone Wright, siblings Michael Wright (Melissa) of Dunn, North Carolina, two sisters Kasey Langston of Raleigh, North Carolina, Stacey Langston of Henderson, North Carolina, and a special friend Demetris Spencer of Hampton, Virginia. He was adored by his 5 nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and several other relatives and friends.

There will be a public viewing on Friday July 2nd, 2021, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC, in Dunn, North Carolina. Followed by a service and internment at 1:00pm.
