Obituary

Reginald "Reggie" Earl Myers was born on September 14, 1962, to Harmon Myers and Ella Goines Myers. Reggie joined the church at an early age and later attended Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Central Islip, New York. He attended Central Islip High School on Long Island, NY, and later obtained a Bachelor's degree. He spent some of his early years living in Alabama with his grandmother. The people in his grandmother's small town found him to be so charming with his lovely accent. He had a way of winning people over with his charm and his humor. Reggie easily made friends and enjoyed years-long friendships from childhood and friends that he met along the way. He and his childhood friends referred to themselves as the original "Do or Die Central Islip" friends. To know him was to love him. He loved his family. He always jokingly referred to himself as the Number 1 member of the family. Reggie was a huge sports fan. He loved his New York Yankees and his beloved New York Giants. Sports was something that he loved and could watch all day on TV .Reggie met and married the love of his life, Stacey Myers. This partnership with his adoring wife, Stacey was a testament to the strength of their connection and the true power of companionship. After having lived in New York their whole lives, they later relocated to North Carolina, where he remained until his passing. Reggie was preceded in death by his father, Harmon Myers; his mother, Ella Goines Myers; and his brother-in-law.
