Tamara Ellen Signal Rice

Tamara, also know as Tamara Ellen Rice of Coats North Carolina, died peacefully  Saturday morning  September 22, 2018.Tamara was born to Nancy Rice and Arthur Cordero in Seattle Washington. Soon after her birth Tamara's mother Nancy Rice met Mr. Curtis Betts of the US Navy. They became husband and wife,and later Tamara traveled with Mr Betts throughout his military career until his retirement.Tamara then moved with the Betts to Coats, North Carolina.She was a graduate of Coats High School.  Tamara is preceded in death by her husband, her mother Nancy Rice, and sister Kimberly Betts Woodman. Left to cherish her memories are her four sons  Danyal Ward, Tim Ward, Elijah Doyle,John Curtis Elliott, six grandchildren,a host of relatives and friends.There will be a Private family gathering, and a Memorial to be announced by the family at a later date.
