Tanya Roachelle Crawford

Tanya Roachelle Crawford (Reese)  46 years old, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. passed away at UNC  Hospital, Chapel Hill. NC, with family at her bedside  on Friday morning  August 7, 2020.. She was born August 31, 1973 at Coco Solo AFB in Panama City, Panama,  to the late  Thomas Robert Reese Jr (1942-2017), and the late  Betty Jean (Paige) Reese (1942-2004).Tanya graduated from Western Harnett High School in 1991 and got a degree in Construction and Technology from FTCC Class of 2011. Tanya loved the outdoors; you could easily find her capturing the early morning clouds and just daydreaming away. Tanya had a big imagination; she was so giving and always would help people in need. She leaves to cherish her memories her brother  Thomas Reese III ( Patricia Reese) of Dunn, North Carolina,and her sister Tamara Hodges ( Darrin Hodges) of Fayetteville North Carolina, four nieces Vanessa C. Reese, Veronica C. Reese, Brandi N. Sutton, and Ayeisha L. Sutton, and one nephew Michael Gilchrist. Two great-nieces Alayja V. Reese and Sy’Morah D. Sutton, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and associates that  she has came to known and care for over the years, especially  her coworkers the great men and women of the Yellow Checker Cab Company of Fayetteville, North Carolina.. Our family wishes  to extend our gratitude to staff of  the  UNC  Health Hospital Chapel Hill  NC, Neurosciences Center  as they supported us in being  prepared mentally   during Tanya's  days of transitioning.and  also to  Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services staff  Dunn, North Carolina, for taking the time to walk us through the final stages of good bye. There will be a Candlelight Vigil at sundown  300 Rowan street BB&T Bank Fayetteville, NC,August 13,2020 @ 8 pm to celebrate Tanya's home going.Tanya will be greatly missed, but she is resting peacefully and keeping company with mom, dad and other relatives that patiently waited on her arrival.
