Tara Lynn Williams

Tara Lynn Williams, 45, of Dunn NC, passed away peacefully Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital after battling a recent decline in health.Tara was born August 29, 1972 to Mrs. Thelma Ruth Davis and the late Mr. Ellis Ray MCDoe at Sampson Memorial Hospital in Clinton NC.  She attended Triton High School.  Tara will always be remembered for making people laugh. She was a member of Hope, Faith, and Charity Outreach Ministries in Dunn NC under the current leadership of Pastor Ruth Davis.Tara is preceded in death by her stepfather the late Bishop Governor Davis, her father Mr. Ellis Ray McDoe, her grandparents Mr. George Robert Parker and Mrs. Thelma Parker, and her special uncle Mr. Robert Parker.Tara is survived by her husband Veronico Williams of Erwin, her mother Thelma Davis of Dunn; two daughters Cornelia Williams and Tornelia Williams both of Dunn; two sons DeVonte Williams and Kymere Busbee both of Dunn;  three sisters, Pauline Bailey of Dunn, Teresa Williams Scott (Marcus Scott) of Spring Lake and Jeanette Williams Rich of Fayetteville, NC ; two brothers Allen Mitchell Bailey of Dunn and Steven Ray Williams of Fayetteville , NC; two grandchildren Ta’Zion Williams and Ty’Shawn Woodard both of Dunn and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitations will be held on Friday March 2nd at from  2 pm -5 pm ,  At Family Funeral Home, 302 Spring branch Rd, Dunn, NC. Funeral Services will  be held at 2 pm on Saturday March 3rd at Dunn Chapel FWB Church, 607 E Edgerton St  Dunn, NC. Interment will be at Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin, NC.
