Teresa C Austin 52 died peacefully early morning on January 3rd, 2018. Teresa is a native of Erwin, NC. Born to Jo Ann (Nordan) Sleeper and Robert Wayne Temple. Teresa attended Erwin public schools and graduated from Erwin High School. Teresa worked at local hotels as a housekeeper and At Parrish Nursing Home of Dunn, NC where she met her husband Richard Austin. They both continued to live in Erwin, NC. Teresa was well known at Gould and Goodrich in Lillington, NC. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Wayne Temple, her step father Walter J. Wasak, grandparents Roy and Lottie Nordan, Robert and Cleo Temple. She is survived by her husband Richard Austin of Erwin, her two sons Matthew and CJ Cole , a sister Wendy Harrington (husband Lee Harrington), a brother Jerry Temple, mother Jo Ann Sleeper (husband David) and a host of nieces and nephews. In Lou of Flowers the family is asking to donate to the   Susan G Komen Foundation, in honor and memorial of Mrs. Teresa C Austin. Services are as follows:  Saturday January 6, 2018 at Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 302 Spring Branch Road Dunn, NC.  A Private Family Gathering from 1 pm-3pm followed by a Public Memorial Service from 3pm- 6pm.
