William Edward Johnson 42, died peacefully on Thursday Morning August 24, 2017 at his home in Coats, North Carolina.

He was an only child, born January 31, 1975 to the late Bobby Edward Johnson, and survived by his Mother Emily Siko Johnson. William was born in Dunn, North Carolina, attended School at Harnett Central High School in Lillington NC. He worked locally for many years, and loved Carpentry jobs. He was involved with donating his time in helping needy people, in his area. He is preceded in death by his maternal, and paternal Grandparents, He is survived by, several uncles, aunts, and cousins, and one significant friend Bonnie Chandler along with her son.  William will be remembered as a hard working, "Kindhearted Gentle Soul" who would help any one he could. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family will gather for a Graveside Memorial Service at Barbourtown Church of God Cemetery in Benson North Carolina, at 2pm August 29, 2017. Officiating will be Pastor Cox, of Second Baptist Church Dunn, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help defray expenses.
