Yolanda Denise Free

Yolanda Denise Free, 56 of Fayetteville, North Carolina departed this life on January 30, 2025. 

Yolanda Denise Free-Windear, affectionately known as Niecy, was born on February 3, 1968, in Washington, D.C. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Yolanda was known for her strength, big heart, and dedication to family. She worked diligently until 2013 when health challenges arose, but she continued to inspire those around her with her resilience and love for unity. Yolanda is survived by her husband of 25 years, Harold (Buck) Windear, her children, Tarshay Malloy and James Free, her siblings, and a host of loving family and friends. A special thanks to the caregivers from Bayada Home Health Care for their compassion and support. Yolanda's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
